Deluxe Batters Box is constructed of a porous rubber crumb base, pressed to the proper density, with an artificial "long" turf top that acts to reinforce the soil. Slows hole creation before the batter ever touches the rubber base. The deluxe batters box has a 3" overall thickness. Cover the last ½" with your infield mix. Tapered edges ensure player safety when sliding. The best alternative for use on high-use, low-maintenance fields. Designed to last for several years without showing significant wear, if maintained properly. Approved by ASA and USSSA for league and tournament play. Metal spikes may reduce the life expectancy.
