Starting in 2015, the Backyard Rule outdoor wiffle ball league has provided wiffle ball tournaments for a wide variety of customers. Headquartered in St. Augustine, FL, Backyard Rule offers special events, team building clinics, fundraiser tournaments, birthday parties, and summer camps.
In addition, they host several circuit tournaments where teams can come compete for the crown! Most of the tournaments take place in Florida and Georgia, where each team plays a minimum of three games and can win merchandise and memorabilia prizes!

We interviewed the owner and founder of Backyard Rule, Nathan Fudala, to learn more about his up and coming wiffle ball league! Check out our Q&A below!
Tell us a little about your camp and why you enjoy running it.
NF: “This past summer was our 9th year of running our Wiffle Ball camp. I enjoy the opportunity to share my love for the game with others. The best thing I can hear is that we inspired a youngster to join a Baseball/Softball team.”
How has making content changed your business?
NF: “The content creation has grown our audience and expanded our reach from Florida to throughout the entire United States. We had a video go viral on TikTok several years ago, and since then our following has reached 60k followers. As our following grows, so do our K-zone sales!”
How many teams and games do you average per event?
NF: “Teams are made up of 4-5 players, and we usually get 8-16 teams. However, we have had events with as many as 40 teams! Regardless of the turnout, all participants are guaranteed a 3-game minimum (3-inning games), or 9 innings total. An entire event lasts just 2–3 hours.”
What are some of your favorite On Deck Sports products and services?
