Welcome back to Facility Feature Friday! Today we're showcasing Hub 44 in East Hampton, New York!
Located at the Round Swamp Farm in East Hampton, the 6,000 square-foot Hub 44 facility is focused on baseball and softball training. Hub 44 offers facility rentals, personalized lessons, group clinics, summer camps, and much more. The facility includes a 52’ W x 80’ L indoor turf field, baseball and softball pitching machines, portable pitching mounds, and a HitTrax simulation system.
In addition to this, Hub 44 has a 3-lane indoor batting cage area that was installed by On Deck Sports! Hub 44 settled on our Fully Retractable Sports Cage equipped with #60 Knotted Netting. Each cage has dimensions of 15’ W x 80’ L, and Hub 44 has extra lane dividers to transform the area into 6 batting cages lanes with dimensions of 15’ L x 40’ W! The area also includes Custom Windscreen Barriers and 6 Inlaid Clay Batting Mat Pro’s.
No batting cage facility is complete without turf, as Hub 44 went with our Navy Blue Arena Padded Artificial Turf w/ 5mm foam. Although most customers settle on green turf, Hub 44 chose navy blue to most resemble their company colors and identity. 7 different 12’ L x 49’ W turf rolls fill out the batting cage area.
Our facility experts helped them land on our top-of-the-line #60 netting, as On Deck Sports coat’s and dye’s each individual strand of netting while using UV inhibitors for extra durability.
Designed to withstand the rigors of daily use, the Arena Padded Artificial Turf is one of our premium turf products, combining polypropylene and nylon yarns. It is soft to the touch, but durable enough to deal with high traffic areas. Weighing 40 oz with 3/4 in height, customers are able to add custom logos and inlaid lines!
